Runaway Sky began when Simone and Taylor met at a Hear Fort Worth Mixer in August 2021. What started as a chance encounter quickly evolved into a creative partnership defined by their natural harmonies and shared love of storytelling. They were once again nominated for Best Country Act at the Dallas Entertainment Awards, along with nominations for Best Country Artist, Best New Band, Best Song in the Fort Worth Weekly Awards.
